Kristin's Totally Awesome and Beautiful Wedding!

Back in June, my sister Kristin got married! I'm so happy for her! Kristin and her new husband were joined forever in the Draper, UT temple on June 22nd. Mom and I drove from Oregon, and we got there a few days early so that we could spend some time with our family. It was especially fun to see Matt and Melinda and the girls, since they live so far away and visits are difficult. We got to spend time with them playing at the park, going out to lunch, and helping Kristin move. And of course I took many photos of my cute nieces. :)

Jensen lunch time! We made Kristin go sit in the corner, since she would soon be a Hilton and no longer one of us cool Jensens. Hahaha! J/k, she and Adelaide were playing in the next booth over. :)

Matt's been adding fabulous girls to our family for years. I think Kristin thought it was about time we started adding some more nice men into the family. ;)

Another reason for getting to Utah early (besides supporting and helping the bride) was so that I could go to Kristin's bachelorette party! It was so much fun! It was nice to finally meet some of Kristin's awesome friends, and have some girl time. And I got to catch up with my cousin Sara, who is a rockstar and wears heels even when she's pregnant. :)

This was the cutest bachelorette party game ever!

Girl time!

Finally, the magical day arrived! It was such a beautiful day! The temple was gorgeous, Kristin was gorgeous, EVERYTHING was gorgeous! Words don't do it justice.

Doing Kristin's hair!

So pretty!

This one makes me laugh, because the lighting makes it look like we photoshopped James into this picture. Lol!

Kristin and her maid of honor, Kelsey. :)

Siblings. :)

Unfortunately, I was too busy being happy for Kristin to take many photos that day. But it was the best day ever. :) I'm so happy for Kristin, and so glad to have James for a brother-in-law. I couldn't have asked for better. May they live happily ever after. :)

Tea Party

Back in February, my best friends and I got together for a girl's day. I picked up Errinkay and took her out to Anna's house, where Anna made us tea. We took a bunch of pictures, so I thought I'd share them. The older we get, the less often it is that we're all able to hang out together. So it was especially nice that we all got to spend some quality girl time together. :)

I brought the onigiri.

We all took pictures of us stuffing our faces, but Errinkay's was the best.

Anna's kitchen is ridiculously adorable.

I can't remember what Anna was laughing about in this picture... probably the fact that Errin had tea spilled all over herself.

My girls. :)

Obligatory goofy face picture.

After tea, we all went for a walk in the nature park by Anna's house.

I couldn't quite reach to hug both of them at once.

These girls are so cool.

Kimi o aishiteru Anna chan and Errin chan! I hope we have many more days like this. :)

Gifts From Afar, Saying Goodbye to Clackamas

Once again, I am behind in my blogging. At the end of January, Gifts From Afar (the store I've worked at for the last 5 years) had to close their location at Clackamas Town Center. We were very sad to go, as it was our most successful location. Clackamas is trying to make their mall more upscale, and apparently we didn't fit their image anymore. They decided not to renew our lease, despite our offers to pay higher rent. So we had to pack up (in a very short space of time) and leave.

I have been shopping at Gifts From Afar in Clackamas since I was in middle school, and have so many fond memories of that location. So, as usual, I had to document every moment of our closing with my camera. Here is a small selection of my photos.

My favorite co-worker.

Pretending to be hard at work.

This is the anciently ancient till I've worked with for the past 5 years. Admire my decorations, go on. ;)

My GFA family. (left to right: Sunita, Raja, Sachita, and myself)

We took a break from packing to have a pizza party.

Of course before we cleared out, we had to graffiti the walls. All the previous occupants of this space have left their mark too, so we didn't feel too bad about it.

On the night we had to be out by, the owners and I didn't get done moving out and cleaning until after 1:00 in the morning. These are two very tired bosses!

So we said farewell to Clackamas Town Center. We still have a store in the Lloyd Center mall, and I still have my job, but I sure miss Clackamas. For one thing, it was a lot closer to my place. The commute to Lloyd center takes me at least twice as long. For another, since Clackamas has closed, hours for all of us employees have greatly reduced. But I'm sure what we'll all miss the most about Clackamas are the many boredom-induced self shots I took in the mirror there...

... NOT! Hahahaha! Farewell, dressing room mirror. Farewell, Clackamas Gifts From Afar.

I can rent a car now!!

In January, I turned twenty five!! I am now a quarter of a century old. It's kinda weird to be twenty five... I remember looking at 25-year-olds when I was in high school and thinking, "They're not kids anymore. They're adults!" I remember thinking that by 25, people were officially grown up; mature, responsible, sophisticated.  Now that I'm twenty five myself, that thought has gotten chucked out the window. Hahaha! Still, I'm excited to be 25. For one thing, now my insurance rates are cheaper. :)

For my birthday, I got just a handful of my really close friends together and we went out to Olive Garden for dinner. It was perfect. The food was amazing, and our waiter was awesome!

Creepy faces! Adam's creepy face is the best!

Here it is again, just so you can experience the full unsettling effect. ;)

Pat's a goon. :)

Preparing to blow out the candle.

Success! :)

Left to right: Sean, Anna, myself, Pat, Amanda, Errinkay, and Adam.

Goofy faces.

After dinner we all went back to my place to watch a movie, but we were having so much fun talking a laughing that the movie never even got put in.

Bunbun joined in the partying. He's a party animal.

Errinkay is so hip.

My girls! :)

Anna cannot resist the adorable fluffy animals! :)

The next photos are the result of me leaving to use the restroom, and leaving my camera unattended. Immediately, my friends seized the chance to snatch up my camera and take many ridiculous goofy pictures of themselves for me to find later. In response, I'm posting them here. Hahaha! Here are my favorites.

This was definitely one of my favorite birthday parties of all time. :)
